| | Our assignment here at Refuge is to reform Christianity.
While running my usual route one morning, I had a vision.
In the vision, I’m in my running gear and I am standing at the door of the Wittenburg church where Martin Luther nailed the “95 Thesis”. I had the “95 Thesis” in my hand and I was hammering it to the Wittenburg door.
I came out of the trance vision and I said, “Ok Lord, this really means something! What does this mean?”
And I felt the Lord say, “I’d like to use you to change the expression of Christianity. I’m inviting you to be a Reformer to reform the expression of Christianity. I am inviting Refuge to change the face of Christianity.”
After that we started getting prophetic words like, “You guys are 20 years ahead…this church is 20 years ahead, and they’ll catch up but you just
I believe as a community, as a collective tribe called Refuge, it’s our call to reform the Religious Mountain.
We are going to write theology that is as transformational as Martin Luther’s was to the Early Reformation Movement. I believe we are a part of the new Apostalic Reformation Movement, where we are going back to letting the Church be the Church, letting power be power, and letting God be God in His people.
The battle we’re fighting is the battle for the goodness of God.
“Is God really good?”
That is the theological battle we are fighting...…”Is God good?"
I believe we are on the front end of it, that is why I’m am not despising the days of small beginnings because the foundation we are laying is going to change Christianity forever.
We are going to go down in history as the people who changed the expression of Christianity in one generation.
That vision wasn’t just for me, that vision was for us…this is who we are here at Refuge.
