Rob Covell is the Lead Catalyst of The Refuge Community in Rancho Cucamonga, CA. Rob leads worship with a heart like David, and teaches the Word of God with insightful revelation. His pastoral teaching style invites people into a greater experience with Jesus, opening their spiritual eyes to deeper understanding of their victory in the Cross of Christ. Rob is an ordained minister of the Gospel, who loves the Revival lifestyle and is called to bring a Reformation of Theology to the Body of Christ. Rob is married to his lovely wife Carolyn, and together, they are committed to bringing FREEDOM to all God's children through teaching the TRUTH about a loving God who is good -- ALL THE TIME!
Carolyn Covell — Lead Intercessor
Carolyn Covell is the Lead Intercessor at The Refuge Community in Rancho Cucamonga, CA. Her heart is to follow Jesus Christ while leading others into His presence through impartation prayer & experiential encounters with Him. She has a passion to pray for our nation's governmental leaders to see transformation in all areas of society that will bring glory to God. She is a wife and mother, who through all the business of family and ministry, found keys to intimacy with God through prayer and intercession.
Rob and Carolyn Covell, together with Jake Hamilton, are the original founders of The Refuge in 2006. The Covells carry the same original DNA of the house, which is not only to usher in the Presence of God through prayer, worship and intimacy with our King, but also to embrace the arts, poetry and all creative aspects of our Creative God while making a space for those gifts in His body to be discovered.
Rob and Carolyn desire to honor our former leaders, Jake Hamilton (2006-2009) and Ted & Toni Imsen (2009-2014), for without them, none of what we do here at The Refuge would even be possible! Thank you & we love you!
